Running Program

Bursitis is inflammation of the fluid-filled pads (bursae) that act as cushions at the joints. It causes pain, swelling, and stiffness around the joints. Tendonitis is similar but is caused by inflammation, which in turn causes scar tissue.

Plantar fasciitis can cause pain in the heel of the foot or a stabbing sensation. It’s more typical for runners—people who are overweight or have inadequate footwear. It’s worse in the morning, although it can be triggered by long periods of standing or after exercise.
Acoustic wave therapy can relieve your symptoms without pills or surgery.
